Privacy notice

Last updated 19 October 2026. This is Loemè's tester release (R1). It explains, in plain English, what Loemè can see, what it keeps, and how to remove it.

What Loemè is

Loemè shows your email as chats. It is a test version, used by a small group of invited testers.

What Loemè can access

When you connect your email (Gmail), you give Loemè permission (through Google) to:

  • read your email, so it can show it as chats;
  • send email as you, when you reply, forward or start a new email in Loemè;
  • mark email as read in your inbox when you open it in Loemè, and star it;
  • move email to your Gmail Bin, but only when you delete it in Loemè or set an auto-delete rule on a chat.

Loemè only shows your Primary inbox for the period you choose in Settings (30, 60 or 90 days). "Archive" in Loemè only hides a conversation in Loemè. "Delete" and auto-delete rules move email to your Gmail Bin, where you can restore it for 30 days. Loemè never deletes email permanently, and starred emails are never auto-deleted.

What Loemè does not keep

Loemè does not store copies of your emails, attachments or contacts. They're fetched from your inbox while you use Loemè and shown on your screen. Files you open are kept only in your browser until you close Loemè.

What Loemè does keep

  • Your Loemè account: your email address, and your password stored scrambled (or your Google sign-in). Managed by Supabase, Loemè's login service.
  • Your email access key: encrypted with a secret key only Loemè's server holds. It lets Loemè reach your email without asking you every time.
  • Your settings and groups: theme, day window, group names and the email addresses in them.
  • Your Loemè archive list: which conversations you archived in Loemè (your email provider's id numbers and the time), not their content.
  • Your auto-delete rules: which chats have one (a conversation's id number, or the other person's email address) and after how many days, not any email content.

Your groups, settings, archive list and auto-delete rules are locked to your account: other users can't see them.

If you register interest on the front page, we receive your name, email and note by email at loemeapp@gmail.com, and use them only to contact you about Loemè.

Who can see it

Only you, through your Loemè account. Loemè's server uses your email access key on your behalf. Loemè's developer can technically access the systems Loemè runs on (Lovable, Supabase and Google), and only does so to run and fix Loemè. Loemè never sells or shares your data, and doesn't use it for advertising or to train AI.

Loemè's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Keeping your account safe

  • Sign in with Google, or use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.
  • Log out of Loemè on shared or public computers.

Removing access and your data

  • Disconnect your email in Loemè's Settings. This cancels Loemè's access at Google and deletes Loemè's copy of your access key.
  • You can also remove Loemè at myaccount.google.com/connections.
  • Delete my account in Loemè's Settings deletes your Loemè account and everything above straight away, and disconnects your email. You can also contact us (below) and we'll delete it for you.
